Turnbuild Building is the trading name of TURNER CONSTRUCTION (SW) LTD. We build residential extensions and loft conversions, and nothing else. That narrow focus keeps our methods, our drawings and our trades consistent from the first survey to the final coat of paint. A single project manager stays with your job throughout, so you always know who to speak to.

Most of our work begins with a home that no longer suits the people living in it. A kitchen that cannot hold a table. A loft used for boxes. A side return that wastes three square metres. We survey the property, measure the structure and set out what the build can achieve within your boundary, your budget and the rules that apply to your property.

Extensions and loft conversions demand accuracy. Steel goes in behind finished plaster. Roof lights sit above new floor joists. Head heights are settled before the staircase is ordered. We fix the sequence of trades at the start and hold to it, because every later decision rests on the frame that was built first. That order is what keeps a household calm while the work carries on around it.

We work directly for homeowners and alongside architects when a design is already drawn. If you hold planning permission, a party wall notice or a set of structural calculations, we build to them. If you are still at the early stage, we tell you plainly what a survey shows and what should happen next, so you can decide with clear information in front of you.

Once work starts, you receive regular updates and a clear point of contact for questions. Dust screens go up, the site is cleared at the end of each week, and the people in your home are the same people you met at the start. We finish the details, hand back the space and leave you a building that performs as it should.
